A new feature-length documentary, Sutch A Life has interviews with those who really knew him. Personal friends contribute, as do those in his house band, The Savages, together with the Screaming Lord himself, both on camera and talking on the radio.

With archive cine film and containing many previously unseen photos, this independently produced documentary is a revealing insight into an entertaining, engaging, eccentric British character, who, from a humble working class background, became popular nationally in the twin genres of music and politics, like no one had before or since.

With unique access to Lord Sutch’s personal scrapbook and his home movie 8mm film, together with footage shot by fans at his shows, the documentary is accompanied by a soundtrack featuring many of his most well-known records.

Completion funding - to clear archive film footage, stills and music - is now needed to finish the documentary and the producers are actively looking for partners and investors in this regard. For further information, please contact the producers at
